Classes DDS Offers:
Have fun while learning the Art of Dance at Debbie's!

Wiggles and Giggles:
Child and parent/caretaker class for children ages 18 months - 3 years old.
Give your child a head start through our fun movement program.  Children participate in activities and songs designed to develop physical strength, social interaction, perceptual skills and emotional & intellectual enhancement.  This class includes an obstacle course, musical instruments and sensory boxes.  Each class encourages the development of imagination, strength and most importantly peer interaction.  Your child's senses will be stimulated by color, shapes and sounds. 
Wear comfortable clothing.


Tiny Tots/Creative Movement CRM) 2-3 year olds

Our 2 & 3 year old creative movement program consists of a 30 minute creative dance and basic tumbling class designed to be a fun-time experience and a first exposure to dance. Dancers will participate in simple song and dance routines, using many fun props and tutus.
The dancers wear a powder blue leotard, white tights, and split sole (dds Revolution brand) ballet shoes.  All items may be purchased through the studio.
 

Pre ballet tap & Tumbling 4-5 year olds
This 45 minute Dance Combo class is designed to give 4 & 5 year-olds their first exposure to ballet and tap. A combination of basic ballet, tap, and tumbling.The class helps dancers develop coordination, rhythm and balance.
This class uses fantasy and fun songs to encourage personality growth. 

The dancers wear a light pink  leotard, white tights, tan tap shoes with a buckle and split sole (dds Revolution brand) ballet shoes. All items may be purchased through the studio.

BTA - Ballet Tap Acrobatics 5-6 year olds
This one hour Dance Combo class is designed to give 5 & 6 year-olds exposure to ballet and tap. A combination of 20 minutes of ballet movement, 20 minutes of tap, and 20 minutes of tumbling helps dancers develop coordination, rhythm and balance. This class allows the child to experience 2 styles of dance and tumbling without the cost of three separate classes.
The dancers wear lavender leotard, white tights, tan tap shoes with a buckle and split sole (dds Revolution brand) ballet shoes. All items may be purchased through the studio.

Ballet
The ballet experience can excite and inspire you. Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. Ballet teaches poise, confidence, coordination and grace, plus, it can be a great work out! Ballet is among the most beautiful forms of expression ever devised.

Tap
Tap offers an exciting and rhythmic dance and exercise form, which is enjoyable to both children and adults. Rooted in African-American History, tap offers a variety of styles and techniques. The classes stress the basics of tap and builds into combinations which are great to watch and delightful to hear. Try tap for fun and fitness. We have a class for you, weather you're 6 or 60, beginning or advanced.

Jazz

Jazz classes focus on the development of coordination, rhythm, strength, flexibility, technique, and basic dance steps and movement combinations.
(Ballet is a prerequisite for jazz class.)

Lyrical/Contemporary
Seen on “So You Think You Can Dance”
Strong use of ballet techniques is incorporated into this form of dance. Defined simply as “poetry in motion”, lyrical often uses the “lyrics” from songs to non-verbally express the music.
  Having a very strong ballet background is important to mastering this dance technique.

Hip Hop 
(Age 5 to Adult) This is a street-dance based class utilizing hip-hop, funk, and dance techniques that are challenging and fun. Hip hop finds its roots on the streets of New York and L.A. Often seen in music videos and commercials, this type of dance is becoming a way to let go and let loose.  This class combines energy, style, and a touch of attitude with hip-hop and pop music. The class also incorporates strengthening and stretching exercises to enhance the student's physical fitness.

   * $200.00/month unlimited # of classes (excludes Performing Company)
   * $235.00/month unlimited # of classes per family of 2 students (excludes Performing Company)
   * $250.00/month unlimited # of classes per family of 3+ students (excludes Performing Company)
   * Boys - 10% off or $65.00 unlimited classes (excludes combo classes)
   * Sibling Discount - 5% off (excludes combo classes such as Pre-ballet, BTA, BTJ, 1/2 hour combo & Performing Company)

Tuition at DDS is divided into 10 terms.  The term schedule is the following:
     August 25, 2015
     September 17, 2015
     October 15, 2015
     November 19, 2015
     December 10, 2015
     January 14, 2016
     February 11, 2016
     March 10, 2016
     April 14, 2016
     May 12, 2016  

Payments made after the due date will be charged a $30.00 late fee.  No exceptions will be made.  If payment is more than 15 days late, the student will not be allowed to participate in class.  No billing statements will be sent. 

We accept cash, check and auto withdrawl.  ACH - Sign up to have your checking account charged automatically each term or semester and you will never miss a payment date.  You must fill out the pre-authorized charge form along with a voided check for us to begin.

All checks returned NSF will be charged a $30.00 processing fee.  If this situation does occur, you will be asked from them on to please remit payments in the form of cash or official check.

Private Lessons:

Private lessons must be paid for in full at the time of scheduling.  Cancellations not made at least 24 hours prior to lesson time may not be refunded.  Private lessons are subject to instructor and room availability.
30 minutes - $25.00
45 minutes - $30.00
60 minutes - $40.00

Semi-Private lessons of 2-4 students:

30 minutes - $18.00/each student
45 minutes - $20.00/each student
60 minutes - $25.00/each student
